How It Works
Caisson drilling is used to drill shafts for foundations for structures. Drill shafts, which are sometimes also referred to as drill piers, caissons, or bored piles, are deep foundation solutions used to support structures with large axial and lateral loads. It consists of drilling and excavating cylindrical shafts into the ground and filling them with concrete.
